举例圣经《和合本》翻译不完善之处

暂时只想到两节经文，《和合本》译于1919年，有些部分翻译的不够准确。现在我对比《英皇钦定本》，找出现代英汉翻译是有别的。

6 应当一无挂虑，只要凡事借着祷告、祈求，和感谢，将你们所要的告诉神。 7 神所赐、出人意外的平安必在基督耶稣里保守你们的心怀意念。

----腓立比书 4:6,7

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

----Philippians 4:6,7  King James Version

《和合本》的“心怀意念”其实就是指“内心”和“头脑”，这样理解会更透彻。

24 神是个灵*，所以拜他的必须用心灵和诚实拜他。

----约翰福音 4:24

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

----John 4:24,  King James Version

“Truth"不是诚实，而是"真理",因为当我们按真理崇拜神比较说得通。
